Containers for Change

The Containers for Change program commenced on 1 October 2020.

This is a great opportunity to reduce litter in Western Australia and to assist in keeping our state and the Great Southern pristine and beautiful.

Denmark Bird Group has registered with the scheme to enable our members, friends and the general public to donate directly to the DBG. Every eligible container delivered to any refund point in WA earns 10 cents and can be donated direct to the Denmark Bird Group by quoting our Scheme ID at the collection point.

All donations received will provide much needed funds to assist the DBG with ongoing projects for the conservation and protection of birds and their habitats. Please encourage friends and family members to also donate and help the DBG continue to educate, study and conserve the birds of Denmark, some of the richest diversity of birdlife in Western Australia.

The refund point at the Denmark Waste Facility in East River Road is open every Wednesday and every Saturday 12.00pm to 4.00pm.
