Denmark was privileged to welcome to the Butter Factory, a National collection of shorebird prints, known as the Overwintering Project, comprising 335 prints by 250 artists. The ”Miracle of Shorebird Migration” exhibition was opened on 17th February with the curator Kate Gorringe-Smith addressing the audience via “Zoom”. The exhibition highlights the plight of our threatened migratory shorebirds and the international cooperation required to conserve key biodiversity areas. It is hoped that this will also inspire local artists to contribute to this extraordinary body of work. The exhibition will be open from 9am to 3pm until 17 March. Photos by Kaiya Ashworth.
